Container packed 21 July 2003 in double quick time ie 2 hours.
Geoff the lorry driver arrived 1/2 hour early. With Mark, Jim and three sterling young men the container was quickly filled with all that we had. We started with the heavy Diasonics machine and then the 1.4 tonnes of wool followed. The lighter stuff flew in. We had to hold a few items back for the TV camera! The container was vast and about 30% was unfilled. We looked around for a 747 to fit inside it. By 12am Geoff was off, up to Portbury from where the container will depart today on a Grimaldi Line ship. ETA Ashdod 14 August 2003. There is a lot of very useful things aboard for the hard pressed folk of Gaza.
