Nihad tells us that getting some water into their homes is foremost in their minds. You will see that money is needed for the purchase of water tanks because many have been shot at by the occupier. Now he writes to say the manufacturers have run out of the plastic pellets used to make these roof tanks. The commercial 'checkpoint' is closed. Consider also that many poorer families are sharing a tap and a toilet between three or more families.
I have asked Nihad whether plastic pellets cannot be made by chipping damaged tanks. Whatever, we need more power to our elbows. Cheaper books for impoverished university students to share is one priority among many.
